Director of Strategic Impact

This senior leader will shape the organisation's agenda by leading policy, advocacy, research, and program evaluation at scale. They will guide program design, oversee evaluation frameworks, focus on efficient resource use, and ensure that evidence drives decisions across the organisation and sector.
About the Role- Lead a large national team in shaping the strategic agenda.
- Guide program design and oversee evaluation frameworks.
- Foster collaboration across government, business, philanthropy, research, and community partners.
- Influence policy and funding decisions nationally.
The goal is to ensure disadvantaged youth complete their education and transition into further study or work. To achieve this, the Director of Strategic Impact will develop and implement effective strategies to reduce educational inequality caused by poverty through evidence practice, innovation, research, and advocacy.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have deep expertise in shaping public policy, social impact strategy, service design, and program delivery within complex environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of organisational policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing evaluation frameworks to measure programme success.
To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional strategic thinking, policy acumen, and the ability to translate evidence into meaningful impact. You will be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
