Australian Pioneer Pistachio Company is looking for a highly skilled Pistachio Production Technician to join their team in Robinvale, Victoria.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing the service and repair of processing equipment used at APPC. This includes diagnosing operational problems and implementing appropriate solutions efficiently, taking into account safety, quality, and cost control.

You will work closely with the maintenance manager to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will also be responsible for identifying impending problems that could affect efficiency and advising the maintenance manager accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all machinery involved in processing operations is fit for service and able to work with minimal downtime.
  • Repair or arrange for the repair of mechanical parts of all machinery, with approval from the maintenance manager.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs for all machinery used in operations.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, Arc, Oxy).
  • Hydraulic knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or repair industry.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on capability.
