Job Title: Career Solutions Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as a Career Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will work collaboratively with injured workers and employers to provide safe and sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with varied client groups to provide job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence;
  • Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas;
  • Building strong relationships with local employers and organisations;
  • Assisting in developing written Labour Market Research reports and brokering vocational programs that support return to work outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A passion for Employment Services or Disability Employment and a desire to diversify your knowledge, skill set and portfolio;
  • Experience in employment services, case management, disability employment advantageous, as would knowledge of worker's compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation;
  • Drive, energy and professionalism, personable approach and stakeholder expectation management skills;
  • Flexible work hours arrangement, part-time 3-4 days and full-time opportunities available;
  • Strong verbal and written communication; excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent administrative skills, competent with MS Office and MS Outlook;
  • Confidence and initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes;
  • Bilingual/multilingual desirable eg. Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Farsi, Hindi;
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or able and willing to obtain);
  • Current driver licence, road worthy motor vehicle and comprehensive insurance due to location some travel may be expected;
