About Us:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor at one of our flagship villages in the Tuggeranong district of Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the planning, organisation and direction of all cleaning staff to ensure an efficient operation, including rooms, public areas, stock control and administration.
  • Review and adjust Domestic cleaning rostering, to obtain the efficiency in services and consequently the best utilization of available resources.
  • Proactive routine in checking common areas to maintain high level of cleanliness standards.
  • To assist in effectively keeping weekly roster published and daily timesheet approval.
  • To control cleaning stock and communicate with cleaning suppliers, place orders to keep the cleaning supplies according to par levels.
  • To assist the Facilities Manager in completing daily work allocations and conducting daily briefings with housekeeping attendants.

Requirements:

  • Experience in housekeeping management for a large team
  • Aged care experience (desirable)
  • Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Rostering and scheduling experience
