About Greenway Views

LDK Seniors' Living's flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities, amenities and activities for both independent and non-independent residents. On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, several hospitality outlets, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.

About the Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is critical in ensuring our village and resident homes' cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance. This position is a front facing role, responsible for leading the cleaning team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, creating positive relationships with residents and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with other departments to ensure all housekeeping activities align with the organizational standards and residents' expectations.

The successful candidate for this role will be working Monday to Friday 0830am - 1700pm.

Role Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• To assist in the planning, organising and directing of all cleaning staff to ensure an efficient operation, including rooms, public areas, stock control and administration.
• Review and adjust Domestic cleaning rostering, to obtain the efficiency in services and consequently the best utilization of available resources.
• Proactive routine in checking common areas to maintain high level of cleanliness standards.
• To assist in effectively keeping weekly roster published and daily timesheet approval
• To control cleaning stock and communicate with cleaning suppliers, place orders to keep the cleaning supplies according to par levels.
• To assist the Facilities Manager in completing daily work allocations and conducting daily briefings with housekeeping attendants.

Qualifications/Certificates/Professional Experience

• Experience in housekeeping management for a large team
• Aged care experience (desirable)
• Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Rostering and scheduling experience
