Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Transport Manager to lead our bus transport services at Olympic Dam. As a key member of our Integrated Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of our workforce and community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide safety leadership of bus operations at Olympic Dam and ensure compliance with all relevant safety management systems.
  • To support Aviation and Facilities Management Supervisors located at Prominent Hill and Carrapateena for busing operations.
  • To be on call for significant events and plan shutdown bus services to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • To monitor the performance of bus business partners and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • To support safe aviation operations by completing Airport Reporting Officer duties and working late shifts as required.
  • To manage and monitor costs, including actual versus forecast spend and purchase orders.
  • To drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • To lead and contribute to BOS routines and establish productive working relationships with contracting partners, customers, and other teams.
About You
  • You must be able to work in dynamic team environments and autonomously, with previous experience in managing contractor execution teams.
  • You should have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and recommendation provision.
  • Able to influence and mentor others in HSEC principles and behaviours, including risk management and critical control execution.
  • Possess a valid manual driver's licence and willingness to develop knowledge of Airport Reporting Officer (ARO) training and obtain Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Experience with 1SAP, BHP Operating System (BOS), and BHP Field Leadership is beneficial.
