About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Rutherford, NSW, servicing the Newcastle/Hunter region.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to major mechanical component failures
  • Carrying out regular servicing, major component changes, and repairs in the depot and field
  • Advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines
  • Implementation of field campaigns as required
  • Ensuring major repairs are completed on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets

You'll also be expected to perform occasional overnight service runs.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter
  • A qualified mechanic with an Australian mechanic's license
  • An Australian Driver's License
  • Forklift License (an advantage)
  • MR Truck License (an advantage)
  • Computer literacy

Based on your skills and experience, you can expect a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and background. You'll also enjoy benefits such as overtime as required, trainings for continued personal development, a laptop and mobile phone, tools of trade, and a company vehicle as required.
