About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Services Employee to join our team at Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT. As a Support Services Employee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents in a residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with a full range of domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Provide general assistance to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their living environment is comfortable and clean.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to residents.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties, including washing, drying, and ironing clothing and linen.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Current NSW Driver License.
