Clinical Leadership in Mental Health

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Leader to provide expert clinical services, governance and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians. The successful candidate will work with older adults referred to the service with mental illness, disorders or behavioral symptoms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level clinical leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement clinical governance frameworks for quality patient care
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies and procedures promoting best practice in mental health care
  • Offer expertise in clinical supervision and mentoring to mental health clinicians from all disciplines
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality improvement and safety in mental health care
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills in contemporary older persons mental health practice
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with relevant authorities
  • High-level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of contemporary older persons mental health practice
  • Current unrestricted drivers' license and ability to maintain
