We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the growth and development of our children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Lead and manage a team of educators to ensure excellent care and education for all children
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to educators to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Cert III or Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- 1-2 years experience in a leadership role
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Above award rate of pay
