About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Nursing Specialist to join our team in Rockhampton. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in conducting pre-employment medicals and working with a supportive team.

Job Summary

This is a permanent part-time role (3 to 4 days a week), working Monday to Friday during business hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health, ED, or clinical nursing and excel at building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and health surveillance medical assessments.
  • Perform urine and saliva drug and alcohol testing.
  • Collect blood serology and pathology samples.
  • Conduct neurological, skin, respiratory, and cardiovascular medical assessments.
  • Administer immunisations (if registered).
  • Participate in occasional project work at client sites, such as drug & alcohol testing.

Requirements
  • You must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • You should have experience in occupational health, ED, or clinical nursing.

  • You must hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport.
