Job Summary
The Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector is a critical role at DynaFire, responsible for conducting thorough fire sprinkler inspections to ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards. This position requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and AHJs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fire sprinkler inspections and services for a wide range of clients with various fire protection system applications.
- Schedule inspections with clients and build strong working relationships with AHJs.
- Communicate the scope of work and required resources to ensure timely completion.
- Apply knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25 to ensure compliance.
- File electronic copies of completed paperwork and utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks.
- Provide support to Service Sales Representatives with sales leads, change orders, and fire sprinkler sales.
- Participate in training classes to enhance industry knowledge and apply DynaFire's mission statement and Core Values.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service
- FASA certification
- Back-flow certification
- NICET Level II or equivalent in water-based systems
- Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire
- Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology
