Residential Construction Assistant

As a Residential Construction Assistant at Stockland, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our residential developments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Site Supervisor in preparing homes for Quality Assurance inspections and homeowner visits.

  • Assist the Site Supervisor with Quality Inspections
  • Complete minor scope gap works on homes for handover
  • Organise and coordinate delivery drop off for materials and appliances to homes
  • Rubbish removal
  • Cleaning houses for site visits
  • Site clean ups
  • Road/street cleaning

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Labourer, working on building/construction sites or similar
  • Must hold a current White Card
  • Own tools, steel caps, and high vis (preferably) or can be supplied if required
  • Current drivers' licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Bobcat and/or Forklift licence, but not essential; experience using a telehandler, if not, training will be provided
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Communicative and willing to work as part of a team
