We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lawyer to join our team in the Abuse Law department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients who have suffered childhood sexual abuse.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients to take detailed instructions and build strong relationships
- Review and interpret complex records with a critical eye
- Draft clear, thoughtful written communications for clients
- Prepare briefs and liaise with medical experts and allied health professionals
- Draft high-quality court documents with precision and care
- Attend procedural hearings and represent the team in court
- Collaborate closely with barristers to prepare matters for hearing
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid practising certificate
- Prior experience working within a Personal injury, Medical Negligence or Litigation environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills, time management skills, and a solutions-focused outlook
