We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding complex electrical engineering projects, driving innovation, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations, and plant design
  • Provide project review of electrical deliverables
  • Coordinate designs and drafts people
  • Review progress and schedule
  • Create, improve, and monitor work practices relating to Electrical/Instrument Engineering methods
  • Review and create standards for business
  • Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements

Requirements:

  • Industry-related higher education degree
  • Significant ( > 25 years) minerals process plant design experience
  • Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
  • Engineering delivery experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment, allocate work to others, and monitor progress

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High-level communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
  • Ability to produce study estimates
  • Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow-up
  • Knowledge of databases and version control
  • Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Extensive industry contacts and ability to win the confidence of Clients through business development

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum
