About the Role

As a compassionate Carer, you will be responsible for assisting daily errands, providing companionship, and support. Your role will involve observing, caring, and reporting changes in client health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a person-centred environment that respects client rights and needs
  • Assist with tasks such as bathing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Support with academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Prepare meals as needed
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Weekend and overnight shifts

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with cognitive decline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current National Police Check and First Aid & CPR certificates
