Temporary Opportunity for Australian Public Service Employees
The Director Capability Review will lead a small team to engage with senior management, business areas, and stakeholders to deliver a Capability Review for Comcare. This review aims to assess the organisation's ability to meet future objectives and identify opportunities to address capability gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the implementation approach for a self-initiated Capability Review for Comcare.
- Prepare and review advice, briefs, and reports on complex matters relevant to the Review.
- Provide strategic advice to Comcare senior management relating to the Review.
- Establish and maintain key strategic internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Lead and manage a small team, including developing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the public sector or demonstrated understanding of the public sector operating environment.
- Highly developed research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent decision-making and judgement skills with a positive results orientation.
- Highly developed written and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Strategic HR, Leadership, or Public Sector Management.
- Baseline Security Clearance.
Specific Conditions
- Some interstate travel may be required.
