Job Title: Treasury Software Developer

The Treasury team is responsible for a platform that provides firm-wide treasury reporting for senior management on profit & loss, financing (margin lending, repos, stock loan), capital management, RWA, margin, haircuts, cash movements, currency exposure and regulatory reporting.

They are looking for a software developer who can help rearchitect the real-time reporting platform to normalize the data feeds used to produce reports, and to implement far more comprehensive and holistic scenario analysis (what-if views) to optimize the treasury function for the business. The ideal candidate will partner with the business to understand requirements and to continuously iterate on improvements to the reporting platform.

Key skills include experience working directly with the Treasury department of a buy-side trading firm, ability to drive engagement with the business and deliver on projects in a timely fashion, and strong domain knowledge.

Desirable skills include full-stack software development skills, experience with web-based GUI development platforms, and experience with big-data/data warehouse platforms such as Hadoop components like HBase, Druid.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years of recent hands-on experience with Python, HTML, SQL (relational databases).
