Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Lead to join our team in Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and drive the technical design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of treasury systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and technology, with experience in managing Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and core treasury or financial technology. They will also possess excellent analytical, collaborative, and business-oriented skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and document complex processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treasury systems that meet the needs of local and global operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure functional design, data mapping, and integration integrity.
  • Streamline end-to-end processing across treasury functions, reducing manual tasks and risk.
  • Maintain systems that meet relevant internal and external regulatory standards and controls.
  • Negotiate with key vendors to oversee support, upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • Provide proactive and reactive technical support for treasury systems and integrations.
  • Drive post-implementation performance and enhance systems aligned with evolving treasury needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or IT.
  • 8+ years in tech/finance roles, including 3+ in treasury tech.
  • Global or APAC experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with managing TMS platforms and core treasury or financial technology.
  • Strong grasp of ERP, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and bank API connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of loan and debt platforms, financial and derivative instruments, in-house banks/designated finance companies, cash management, and risk analytics.
  • Familiarity with Treasury Policy standards, IFRS/ASC, etc..
  • Led technology side of treasury projects in complex, multi-entity environments using agile practices.
  • Analytical, collaborative, and business-oriented with strong communication and documentation skills.
