We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the School Cleaning Unit as its Manager. This strategic role involves providing effective leadership, direction, and management of the unit, ensuring high-quality cleaning services are delivered across Victorian Government Schools.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and be accountable for the School Cleaning Unit, driving success through strategic decision-making.
  • Develop business strategies to achieve unit goals and objectives, aligning with Department processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance in all administration activities, including procurement, recruitment, reporting, and HR-related matters.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, such as school principals, facilities managers, and key personnel, to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage area-based cleaning models in Melbourne metropolitan schools, enhancing compliance and monitoring frameworks in regional schools.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated experience in facility management or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members, driving collective success.

**Working Arrangements:**

This position is based at East Melbourne, with hybrid working arrangements available. Regular office attendance is required.
