Job Description:

As a seasoned finance leader, you will spearhead the development of our organisation's financial performance and governance. This strategic role involves leading a high-performing team to deliver critical financial insights and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities include leading finance capability aligned with our financial goals, ensuring robust governance and compliance with financial regulations, partnering with senior leaders to provide sustainable financial outcomes and financial insights, driving strategic financial improvement initiatives, overseeing financial operations, managing key external stakeholders, and leading process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in senior executive finance leadership
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in corporate finance, accounting, tax, capital management, and reporting
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in utilities
  • Strong commercial acumen, change leadership, and ability to build trusted relationships
