Job Description

We are seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our maintenance team in the Bowen and Galilee Basin.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain our Mobile Plant Units (MPUs) and ancillary mobile and fixed equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

  • Maintain and repair MPUs and associated equipment to optimize performance.
  • Provide on-site assistance with breakdowns, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Previous experience in maintaining MPUs or HR vehicles is highly regarded.
  • A current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Physical fitness and readiness for demanding work.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
