About the Position

Geraldton Flexible School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join their team. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students. This will include planning, preparation, and delivery of curriculum, as well as implementing individualized learning plans to support student success.

  • Develop and implement learning programs that promote academic, behavioral, and social growth among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive school environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's objectives and planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with young people disenfranchised from mainstream education.
  • Strong knowledge of teaching processes, frameworks, and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system.
