Altius Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Services Assistant to join our team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our consultants in addressing the physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organizational risk factors that impact a worker's ability to return to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with practitioners and workers who have sustained an injury or illness in the workforce
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of rehabilitation plans for individuals
  • Support return-to-work planning for occupational rehabilitation claims, certificates of capacity, and approvals for services
  • Assist in developing detailed written reports that support workers' goals and outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date information, data, and documents for all workers
  • Collaborate and liaise with medical practitioners and allied health professionals
Requirements
  • Current 4th-year students (Occupational Therapy)
  • Minimum 3-day availability per week
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current driver's license and car
  • Ability to obtain a Police and Working with Children Check
