Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate practitioner to deliver Positive Behaviour Support in diverse settings. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with skilled clinicians to provide support that drives meaningful change.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify underlying needs.
  • Design and implement person-centred Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Provide education and training to carers and support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines by reviewing and reducing restrictive practices.
  • Collect and analyse data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.

Requirements

  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
  • You are endorsed as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (a letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission is required).
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and a current driver's licence.
  • You have a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
