Senior Research Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Analyst to join our price reporting team. The successful candidate will cover the growing seaborne metallurgical coal and coke market, thriving in the rigors of a daily deadline.

About the Role
  • Track supply and demand fundamentals of the seaborne metallurgical coal and coke market.
  • Report on metallurgical coal prices on a daily and weekly basis, developing a keen understanding of the drivers of pricing.
  • Research and write breaking market news and in-depth analytical pieces that differentiate our content offering.
  • Engage actively in business development, assisting account managers in the sales process through maintaining sales pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the commodity space as a reporter/researcher.

  • Excellent inter-personal skills and effective team player.
  • Strong quantitative skills and organizational skills with attention to detail.
