About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Australia Wide. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering design services using leading technology of steel and concrete structures, including foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects, including steel and concrete structures.
  • Inspect, appraise, and report on industry assets and structures to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage engineering projects, including the supervision of drafting subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and support engineering graduates and other team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in civil engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in structural engineering highly regarded. You will also need to have around 10 years of post-graduation experience working in an engineering role involving design of steel structures and foundations in Australia.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to work autonomously as a self-starter, as well as thrive in a team environment. You will also need to have the ability to travel locally and interstate as required.
