Job Role:

As Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales growth and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences in-store.

Create an environment where creativity and imagination define the future of play. Achieve outstanding results in customer experience and sales performance through collaboration with your team and the Store Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective store rosters according to traffic patterns and peak periods.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to build a positive team environment.
  • Support the Store Manager in planning and achieving sales and customer service targets.
  • Collaborate with your team to process online orders and execute engaging in-store promotions.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management, including stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Cultivate a collaborative team environment focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Work with the Store Manager to develop and train a skilled retail team for future career possibilities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing team in sales and customer experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism combined with a fun, encouraging, and welcoming team environment.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving KPIs in a retail setting.
  • Ability to inspire and coach a small team of retail professionals.
