Nutrition Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Nutrition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based nutrition intervention across a range of inpatient wards and outpatient services.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an acute setting and be committed to best practice and working within a multidisciplinary team. They will also possess well-developed time management, prioritisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with key stakeholders to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based nutrition intervention to ambulatory oncology patients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care using a patient-centred approach
  • Actively participate in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are actively explored and best practice is achieved

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor/Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Eligibility for membership with relevant professional organisation
