About The Facility

Barwon Health provides clinical services to inpatients and outpatients across all clinical services at University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre and Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre. The team promotes cooperative teamwork, clinical excellence, consumer-centred care and interdisciplinary collaboration. The team also provides clinical placements for Deakin dietetics students and maintains a relationship with Food Services via the Food Service Dietitian.

About The Role

The Clinical Dietitian will provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to patients, clients and customers of Barwon Health. The role supports consumers and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence by:

• Provision of comprehensive, co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services
• Provision of consumer-centred care
• Contribution to the development and delivery of high-quality, cost effective dietetics services
