Alternative Learning Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead the establishment of our Alternative Learning program in Mount Isa.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a deep understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth and families, as well as experience in building strong networks and partnerships in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a passionate team, including providing professional supervision
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and holistic service
- Proactively build connections with local services providers, including schools and education providers, youth justice services, and other specialist supports
- Advocate for young people and their families through local networks and engagement with government agencies
- Oversee daily operations within the Alternative Learning program and ensure that practice, compliance, and child safeguarding standards are met
