Senior Java Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead the development and deployment of enterprise-grade applications, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java 17+, Tomcat configuration, Spring Boot ecosystem, Git version control, and secure authentication protocols.

This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that support national capability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a technically rich environment.

Key responsibilities include leading software development from design to implementation, managing version control using Git, configuring Tomcat environments, and leveraging the Spring Boot ecosystem to build robust backend services.

Additional responsibilities include contributing to secure authentication protocols, API design and documentation, and supporting data integrity across downstream systems.

Requirements
  • Java Development: 5+ years of experience with Java.
  • Tomcat Configuration: Experience deploying Java and web applications in Tomcat environments.
  • Spring Boot Ecosystem: 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related libraries.
  • Git & Version Control: Strong proficiency in Git workflows, repository management, branching strategies, and pull request handling.
  • Security & Authentication: Familiarity with Spring Security and protocols such as LDAP, SAML, and OAuth2.0.
  • API Design & Documentation: Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.
