Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Perth. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. You will also be responsible for communicating company values and culture to new employees, reviewing and implementing new Reservations procedures, and processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify availability of room type and rate
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
  • Accommodate and document special requests
  • Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
  • Input and access data in reservation system
  • Respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests
  • Set-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of hotel operations and a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
