Key Manufacturing Leader

We are looking for a skilled leader to oversee production operations, ensuring quality control and efficient use of resources.


The ideal candidate will have experience in managing production teams, operating complex machinery, and maintaining accurate records. A strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a small team to meet production targets and maintain a safe work environment
  • Operate state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, including tempering, depositing, mixing fillings, and enrobing chocolate
  • Ensure quality control and adhere to GMP guidelines throughout the production process
  • Organise packing staff at end-of-line stations
  • Develop and implement recipes and methods to create chocolates to specification
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Perform frequent heavy lifting of up to 25kg throughout shifts
  • Complete machine clean-downs and line changeovers efficiently
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and traceability records
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or FMCG
  • Proven leadership skills with previous team leader experience
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learning attitude
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace
  • A positive attitude with punctuality and reliability
