Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Port Hedland. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works for the project are carried out in accordance with drawings, scope of works, company standards and specifications, Australian Standards and to the project schedule.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and coordinating electrical requirements of contracts. They will also have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all personnel maintain safe systems of work.
  • Planning activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies.
  • Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract.
  • Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control.
  • Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance audits.
  • Liaise with client and contractor representatives.
  • Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you will have at least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the heavy construction industry and hold your WA electrical licence. You will also need to demonstrate a high level of commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, strong organisational skills, well-developed numeracy and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a high functioning team.
