Electrical Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Team Lead to oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will lead and mentor department personnel, collaborate with Service Center Management, maintain customer relationships, and participate in business development.

  • Oversight of inspection, repair, and maintenance of HV/MV/LV electro-mechanical equipment including motors, and generators.
  • Leadership and mentoring of department personnel, supporting recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Collaboration with Service Center Management to achieve operational targets and ensure efficient job scheduling.
  • Maintenance of long-standing customer relationships and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Participation in business development through meetings and workflow optimisation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Trade Certificate III Electrical Fitter or equivalent qualification.
  • An Australian Electrician License (Preferred).
  • At least 5 years' experience in repair, rewind, and overhaul of High/Medium/Low voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • High-level problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage others and manage a team.

We offer a variety of work at service centre locations, field work, technical training, on-site car parking, and employee assistance programs. However, we do not provide visa or work permit support for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of HV/MV/LV electro-mechanical equipment, including motors and generators.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor department personnel, supporting recruitment, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

  1. Trade Certificate: A Trade Certificate III Electrical Fitter or equivalent qualification.
  2. Australian Electrician License: An Australian Electrician License (Preferred).
  3. Experience: At least 5 years' experience in repair, rewind, and overhaul of High/Medium/Low voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery.
  4. Skills: Strong communication and time management skills, high-level problem-solving skills, and ability to engage others and manage a team.
