Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager at Country Road, you will be responsible for assisting with delivering the store's financial targets and company key performance indicators. Your focus will be on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience, while building a team that is empowered to exceed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Customer-Centric Culture: Create a warm and meaningful in-store experience for our customers.
  • Assist in Driving Sales and Profit: Ensure the achievement of all key performance indicators as set by the business.
  • Support the Manager: Ensure the team has an understanding of all business objectives, with a clear focus on commercial acumen.
  • Inspire and Empower Your Team: Collaborative leadership, training, and development to drive team success.
  • Adhere to Company Behaviours: Embody our key cultural values of Customer Obsessed, Collaborative, Inspirational, Responsible, and Dedicated to Quality.

Attributes You Possess:

  • A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service, and a strong sense of personal style and presentation.
  • Assist with managing budgets, interpreting financial reports, and generating efficient rosters.
  • Support the Manager in managing the performance, productivity, training, and development of the team.
  • Operational excellence, experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
