Leadership Opportunity for a Dynamic Early Childhood Professional

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team in a leading early childhood education centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of early childhood education and care.


Job Description

The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff development, quality improvement, and program implementation. You will work collaboratively with the Centre Director and other team members to ensure high-quality care and learning outcomes for every child.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director in managing centre operations and implementing programs
  • Lead and develop a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and other stakeholders to achieve centre goals and objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current SA Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check
