Casual Educator Job Description

Busy Bees at East Fremantle is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our young learners.

About the Role

This position involves working in a dynamic and flexible environment where your support makes a real difference every day. As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting permanent staff with routines and transitions in different rooms
  • Delivering play-based learning aligned with the EYLF
  • Being available for flexible shifts Monday to Friday, between 6:30am and 6:30pm
  • Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

You'll have the opportunity to step into a variety of roles and contribute to the growth and development of our early learners.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or studying towards one)
  • At least 6 months of experience in an early childhood setting
  • A current Working with Children Card (WA WWCC)
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting Certificate
  • Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa)
