Embark on a life-changing journey to Guatemala, where you will contribute to the healthcare needs of underprivileged communities. This project provides a unique opportunity to work alongside local professionals in medicine, nursing, dentistry, nutrition, and project management.

As a volunteer, you will be immersed in a challenging yet rewarding environment, working with a range of ages from toddlers to young mothers. Your placement will be flexible and tailored according to your interests and abilities, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of local people.

Our partners are fully-vetted local organisations and charities that provide essential healthcare services to those in need. You will have the opportunity to participate in various projects, including disease screening, nutritional assessments, health education, and community-based initiatives.

To ensure a smooth transition into the program, 25 x pre-departure Spanish lessons are included, allowing you to immerse yourself in local life and communicate effectively with your hosts.

Upon arrival, you will receive dedicated support from our UK and in-country teams, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident throughout your stay. With optional home-stays or other accommodation options available, you will be able to choose the best fit for your needs.

Throughout your time in Guatemala, you will have access to a range of amenities, including three meals per day prepared by local cooks or eaten at local restaurants. Our 24-hour support team will be available to assist with any queries or concerns you may have.
