Senior Data Analyst and Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Science professional to lead our analytics initiatives. This permanent opportunity will enable you to drive business value through data insights.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the capture, prioritisation, planning and delivery of ad hoc data extracts, dashboards, insights and machine learning models to meet internal and external requirements.
You will also lead the analysis of data to provide stakeholders with actionable insights including explanatory commentary, data visualisation and recommendations.
Additionally, you will lead and manage the delivery of data science projects from inception to completion, defining and embedding procedures within the team to align with organisational data governance and risk management standards.

Requirements- Extensive technical leadership experience in a complex environment for a medium sized organisation in a data related discipline (Reporting / Analytics / Data Warehouse / BI/ Data Science / Actuarial).
- Demonstrated skills in data science, reporting and analytics technologies, including SQL, Power BI/Tableau, R and/or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the technical delivery of data science projects.
- Good understanding of data warehousing and data modelling.
