Product Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for ensuring the highest standards of product quality.

About the Role

The Product Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting painted product quality through process improvements and ensuring product standards. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting painted product quality through process improvements and ensuring product standards
  • Providing technical support on paint lines while striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence
  • Assessing and analysing data, whilst identifying opportunities to enhance the performance of our painted products
  • Working collaboratively within our manufacturing plant to ensure painted product quality
  • Safely contributing to a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in materials or chemical engineering
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry – operational, process, or technical environment
  • A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
  • Developed communication and influencing skills to build constructive and effective relationships
  • An ability to coordinate technical projects and work seamlessly with other departments to influence outcomes in a timely manner
