Position Overview
This full-time, fixed-term position commences on January 20, 2025, and runs for the duration of Term 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher who can work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $84,077-$121,092 per annum pending experience. Additionally, you will receive annual leave with 17.5% leave loading, access to salary packaging options, modern facilities, equipment, and resources, and long service leave after 7 years of continuous service.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have an understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of abilities. They will also be able to collaborate and work positively as part of a professional learning community, having a willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, a current driver's licence, and the ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville. You must also be able to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
