We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate professional to fill this key role. The successful candidate will play a critical part in delivering assessments and counselling services to individuals navigating complex rehabilitation plans.
About You- You possess a tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (5th year-Masters Degree completed for Psychology applicants)
- You are registered with AHPRA or ASORC
- You have a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
- You take pride in your strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- You will deliver assessments and counselling to individuals who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
- You will conduct assessments to help guide individuals toward their new career path
- You will collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
- You will identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
- You are customer-focused, passionate about delivering counselling services to individuals who are facing challenges in their career goals and circumstances
- You are quality-orientated, case managing complex psychological injuries and liaising with treating health professionals, all delivered with the highest standards of quality and care
- You are people-passionate, taking pride in empowering others and advocating for recovery and return to work
- You are dynamic and agile, conducting assessments to help guide individuals toward their new career by developing graduated return plans through liaising with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes
