Work Rehabilitation Specialist

The role involves collaborating with a small team to provide tailored services to clients across various sectors. This includes local travel and a variety of tasks such as vocational assessments, labour market assessments, psychological pre-employment assessments, and case management activities.

  • Provide work rehabilitation case management services to clients
  • Conduct single service assessments
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes for multiple stakeholders
  • Assist injured workers in transitioning back to suitable paid employment
  • Facilitate independence in workers to return to work

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Eligibility for provisional registration as a Psychologist with the relevant health practitioner regulation authority or eligibility for membership with a recognized professional association
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong aptitude for time management and goal-setting
  • Strong report writing abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A positive and solution-focused outlook
