The Opportunity

We seek an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to join our Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) Services team, supporting Modification and Depot Maintenance for the P-8A Poseidon Program at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Edinburgh, South Australia.

  • Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills in accordance with the MOE.
  • Adhere to approved maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance has been completed and corrective actions satisfy task requirements.
  • Perform aircraft and / or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation.
  • Use equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions consistent with its safe and proper use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance activities on aircraft and components.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on maintenance practices and procedures.
