Childcare Educator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality childcare services to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your primary focus will be on creating engaging and educational experiences for children, including developing and implementing lesson plans, supervising activities, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced service manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service and to contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional childcare services to children aged [insert age range]
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
  • Supervise and manage activities to ensure child safety and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting (including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training)
  • Previous experience in the childcare industry (ideal but not essential)
