">About the Role:

This is a mid-senior level full-time position with a focus on mining industries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality structural designs, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications
  • Lead project teams through cost estimation, scope development, and technical delivery to meet targets
  • Conduct site visits to support audits, commissioning, and compliance across heavy industry operations
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers within the structural team
  • Contribute to business development by engaging with clients, identifying project opportunities, and supporting proposal development

Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Structural)
  • RPEQ
  • 7+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, including site-based work
  • Experience with structural analysis tools (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7) highly regarded
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous team leadership or coaching experience desirable

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering (Structural), RPEQ, and 7+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, including site-based work. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
