Assistance Worker

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate assistance workers to provide in-home support services for individuals requiring care. Working hours are flexible and include morning, afternoon shifts and occasional weekends.

The role involves providing assistance with daily living tasks, including transportation, shopping, personal care, companionship, meal preparation and respite care. This work is carried out in clients' homes or within the community.

  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as flexibility and adaptability. Required qualifications include:

  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Disability
  • A current Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A Provide First Aid and CPR certificate
  • An Australian Federal Police Check
  • An NSW Working with Children's Check
