Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $92,005 to $110,020 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.

About the Role

As an APS 6 Videographer and Editor, you will play a vital role in our Communication and Change Branch, working closely with Strategic Communications, Internal Communications, Creative Design and Social Media teams to produce high-quality media products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot, edit, photograph, animate, and deliver video content that showcases the department's work under the supervision of the Creative Video Manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging video and photography content for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage smaller projects independently, including scripting, project planning, and customer service support.
  • Develop and maintain the department's video and image library, providing customer service and uploading content as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years' industry experience in a similar role, with expertise in video and stills camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and editing Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
  • Strong organisational skills, production experience, and ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture high-quality pieces-to-camera, interviews, and video on location using Sony cameras, along with photo editing skills in Lightroom and Photoshop.
